Heather graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in philosophy and religion in 2003 and from Columbia University with a Ph.D. in the philosophy of religion in 2013. At Columbia, she enjoyed teaching Contemporary Civilization for four years and now teaches in a great books program at George Fox University in Newberg.
